PENNIES FOR PETER
Peter Herrera is a bright, sweet Kindergarten student in Ms. Goodwin’s class @ Morrison Elementary. Peter has been recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He is currently being treated at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital in Spokane, WA. Morrison Elementary is raising money to help Peter’s family with expenses: commuting, lodging, and medical.
Donations can be made at the elementary office or the high school office.

The 6th grade class is having a bake sale on Thursday, April 21st during afternoon recess. They are raising money for the annual 6th grade trip to Silverwood. 10% of the proceeds will be donated to the Pennies for Peter fund.

The 5th Annual Morrison School Talent Show Family Night will be this Thursday in the gym. The New Horizons students will be serving free homemade tacos, enchiladas, cake and juice starting at 5:30. The talent show will begin around 6:30 and last about 90 minutes. All students/families are invited to come and cheer for your classmates. The final list of who will be in the talent show will be posted on the wall outside Ms Higgins’ office on Wednesday. All students in the show should be there by 6:00 pm to check in.

Bryan Bowers Singer/Songwriter & Master Auto harpist Extraordinaire will perform in an Assembly for the Morrison Student Body on Friday, April 22nd @ 1:15 pm in the gym.
The annual Egg Drop contest is scheduled for Friday, April 29th. Details, details, details will be sent home next week! 
The Elementary Track Meet is scheduled for Thursday, May 12th.
A Children of Divorce support group is being formed at W.F. Morrison Elementary for students in grades 2-4. The group is open to children who have recently experienced parental separation or to those who still struggle with internal conflict about the changes separation has brought. A permission slip that further explains the group is being sent home with your student. If you do not receive one, please contact Mr. Lieser either by phone
(406-295-4321) or email (mr.lieser@gmail.com). This group is entirely voluntary and is meant only to help students cope with these difficult changes
