I want to welcome you and your child into my 2nd grade classroom. I am looking forward to a happy, exciting and educationally packed year. I am also very eager to work with you and your child as a team.
Second grade is such an exciting year for your child. We will do many different types of activities each week to involve your child.
I expect students to do their best work, be on their best behavior at all times, and be to school on time. Mornings usually set the tone for the day, a good beginning at home will mean a good day at school.
